Biography
I was born in 1975 and grew up in Essex. As a kid I loved to draw my toys, or copy the magical illustrations from my books.
Passionate about art, I studied Fine Art at De Montfort University in 1998, where drawing took a back seat, and I focused on painting, sculpture and printmaking. I graduated De Montfort with a First Class BA Honours Degree 2001.
My interest in drawing rekindled whilst teaching Life Drawing on a PGCE placement at the London College of Fashion in 2006. Once again, I found myself as fascinated by the drawing process as I once had been as a child.
I went on to complete, 'The Drawing Year' at the Royal Drawing School in London from 2007-2008, where drawing became the primary focus of my work, and it has continued to be so ever since.
I currently create work for exhibition and private collections from my studio in Norfolk.
